Bio
Starting out as an actor and filmmaker Leonard Carow’s art has always been heavily influenced by music. In his new solo project he leans into his love for sound, creating songs that evoke vivid cinematic imagery often dealing with themes of purpose and belonging.
Musical Style
Influenced by folk music, neo classical composers and movie scores Leonard’s songs take the listeners on a vivid journey into his mind.
His deep love for nature can be heard in a unique blend of calm vocals and emotional, sometimes unsettling soundscapes.
He counts musicians like Daniel Norgren, Ray LaMontagne, Hanna Rani, Nick Drake, Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Odell and Benjamin Clementine to his biggest influences.
